Farm Glean
Our Farm Gleaning program distributes thousands of pounds of unharvested produce from local farms to food banks and other food access organizations in the region. Glean volunteers get a cut of the harvest, too! Food Access Coordinator Benji Astrachan leads weekly farm gleans. Exact day and time varies each week. The Peninsula Food Coalition is an informal group of local and statewide Food Access and Hunger relief organizations with the mission of recovering and distributing nutritious food to people in need across the North Olympic Peninsula. 2024 Plant Clinic at Swain’s General Store
Come visit the Master Gardeners at the Swain's General Store with your questions, insects, and plant samples. We love sharing relevant, unbiased, research-based horticulture and environmental stewardship information with our community. Sessions go from 10 am to 1 pm starting April 5th, 2024 and will continue every other Friday through September 20th, 2024.
