Preserving the Catch: Home Pressure Canning of Seafood

WSU Extension is hosting a FREE workshop on how to safely can seafood this Friday December 5th, 2-5 pm. Participants learn principles of food preservation, including a hands-on salmon canning demonstration. Jars, frozen salmon and recipes provided. Take home 2 jars of salmon, recipes and know-how! Class will be held at First Step Family Support Center, 325 E 6th Street, Port Angeles and taught by Betsy Wharton, WSU Extension Food Preservation Advisor & Proprietor of the Clallam Canning Company.
