Healthy Sheep and Goats – Fecal Egg Count Lab & FAMACHA Certification Workshop
The workshop will consist of a classroom presentation, fecal egg count laboratory and FAMACHA certification. The classroom component is required for FAMACHA certification, but the egg count lab is optional. Participants will learn about chemical and non-chemical means of parasite control, signs of parasitism, health monitoring techniques, and concerns about dewormer resistance.
