Speaker Profile:
Trevor Cameron
Trevor has been in the nursery industry for 30 plus years now, serving for almost 20 years running Wight’s Home and Garden in Lynnwood and now serving as GM of Sunnyside Nursery in Marysville for the past 12 years.
He is a Certified Professional Horticulturist (CPH), holds a degree in Chemistry from CWU and serves on the board of directors as Past President of Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens. He currently serves on the Washington State Nursery and Landscape Association (WSNLA) executive board and will serve as President in 2024.
Trevor loves everything gardening and is truly a “plantophile”! He teaches and lectures for many clubs and groups in the area and covers about 50 classes a year at Sunnyside on all kinds of gardening topics.
When not working at Sunnyside, he is working in his own yard in Everett or volunteering at the Arboretum. Trevor loves spending time teaching his two young sons about everything outdoors, building Legos with them and chasing his golf ball around any course as much as time allows
