Spot Light Lecture: Vegetable Crop Production: How to make the most of your small acreage

Interested in raising high value crops for local markets? Then come to a lecture by one of WSU’s expert vegetable horticulturists on Friday, March 20th. The two hour presentation by Dr. Carol Miles will include a discussion about commercial vegetable production in the Pacific Northwest and current Washington State University research on vegetable crops. The presentation will be from 2-4pm on Friday, March 20th, at the Transit Center on 190 West Cedar Street, Sequim. This presentation is free and open to the public.
Carol Miles is a Professor in the Department of Horticulture at Washington State University, and is the Vegetable Specialist located at the WSU Mount Vernon Northwestern Washington Research and Extension Center. She specializes in vegetable crop production and has a strong interest in alternative crops and organic production. Carol has her Ph.D. in vegetable crops from Cornell University.
