Join us for The Annual SCMGF Sustainable Gardening Winter Speaker Series, from the comfort of your own home, via Zoom!

Description:
Mature trees are a valuable asset in the landscape. Yet installing new gardens and maintaining old gardens amidst the expanding shade and roots can present challenges for the trees and companion plantings alike. This talk will offer practical solutions to choosing and placing plants that will thrive without compromising the roots and health of the trees. Adapting the landscape to changing light and space conditions as trees grow larger, plant selection, irrigation, and the conundrum of combining trees and turf be discussed.
Cost:
$85 for the entire series, if purchased in advance. Tickets for individual sessions will be available for $20, starting January 1st, based on availability. Limited space available.
